‘Supernatural’ actress Nicki Aycox dies at 47 According to media outlets, she revealed over a year ago that she had been diagnosed with leukemia. (NCD)

Nicki Aycox, known for her role as Meg Masters on “Supernatural,” died Wednesday, according to her sister-in-law.
Susan Raab Ceklosky posted the news of Aycox’s death on Facebook Thursday.
“My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side. Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her.”
Aycox was not only known for her role in “Supernatural” but also had many reccurring roles in Cold Case, Providence, Over There, ED and Dark Blue. Her other television credits included Ally McBeal, The X-Files and Boy Meets World.
According to People, she revealed over a year ago that she had been diagnosed with leukemia. An official cause of death has not yet been released.
