SANFORD, Fla. — A Florida homeowner caught a black bear grabbing a snack from the garage refrigerator and got it on video.
According to WFTV, a neighbor of Jason Mickel and his wife, Laura, let them know that around 7 p.m. Saturday night that they had a black bear in their garage.
Jason went to check it out and caught the black bear going through his refrigerator, WFTV said. He went inside the garage with his phone ready and started recording as his wife watched from the front yard.
Laura told WFTV that she wasn’t shocked that it happened and had apparently told Jason to make sure he closed the doors. She also said the bear took turkey and beef burgers, some shrimp, garlic bread and even some frozen fried pickles. They both watched the bear carry all of his findings down the street.
The Mickels told WFTV that they plan to make sure in the future the garage door is closed to prevent any further refrigerator raids.
