A fundraiser to help curb youth homelessness in Atlanta is deemed a success.
The Executive Director of Covenant House says their annual “Sleep Out” raised almost $900,000
Dr. Alie Redd said the goal was $970,000. About 150 people slept out in the cold for a night as part of the event which she called a moving experience.
“We have a couple more weeks until the end of the year to reach our goal,” Redd said. “We are very optimistic that we will get there.”
