The University of Georgia’s gymnastic team will have a celebrity in the audience for their home opener.

Eleven-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles will be on hand for the GymDogs’ first home game next month at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens on Jan. 17 when they take on Boise State.

Biles is the most decorated American female gymnast in Olympic competition winning multiple medals in Rio, Tokyo, and in Paris.

First-year coach Cecile Canqueteau-Landi, who was named co-coach along with Ryan Roberts back in April, is a personal coach for Biles guiding her during all three of her Olympic appearances.
