ATLANTA — The mega millions jackpot has grown to $862 million for Friday evening’s drawing.

If no one wins the draw on Friday evening, the Mega Millions jackpot will grow to an estimated $944 million for Tuesday, which equates to an estimated cash value of approximately $429,481,000.

There have been 27 consecutive drawings since someone won the Mega Millions jackpot on Sept. 10 when the jackpot was $810 million.

Last week, the jackpot grew to $670 million. On Tuesday, the jackpot was $825 million.

In Georgia, winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes. The most recent jackpot winner from Georgia was the $478.2 million Powerball jackpot in October.
