Movie goers get ready, because Regal Cinemas is gearing up to open a whopping eight theaters near the metro Atlanta area. And, it’s all happening Friday.
Scores of movie theaters have wilted and ultimately closed as a result of the business debilitating COVID-19 pandemic over the past year. That being said, Regal is looking to bounce back in Georgia in a big way. The eight local Regal theaters will be once again opening their doors Friday, May 7.
As revealed in a recent press release, Regal will be combatting the coronavirus with a system of safety measures. The company has announced that they will be implementing new health and safety measures within the local theaters as part of the company’s “CinemaSafe protocol and guidelines.”
As Governor Brian Kemp recently lifted most state COVID-19 restrictions, more and more Georgians are looking to venture out of their quarantines and back into the metro for the upcoming weekend. With Mortal Kombat and Godzilla vs. Kong’s theatrical releases now in full swing, Regal is giving local film lovers eight reasons to take a trip to the movies.
