Kaedy Kiely's archived interviews from her years in Atlanta rock radio. Kaedy's Classics include chats with Rock legends like Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, The Who’s Pete Townshend, and so many more.
The Atlanta Rhythm Section is back at The Buckhead Theatre December 8th. I spoke with lead singer Rodney Justo nearly a decade ago about an upcoming performance and loved reminiscing with him about how fun it is to perform ARS music. xoxo
Bryan Adams talks charity work, photographing the queen, and bringing down The Wall in Berlin.
The Black Crowes were to play with Aerosmith this month before the tour was, sadly, canceled. Happily, The Black Crowes are still out on the road! I found this piece of interview I did with my 96 Rock cohort, Beth Kepple, from December of 1990, the year the Crowes first album “Shake Your Moneymaker” was released. Chris and Rich Robinson talk about their love of Aerosmith, and about how their debut album had just given them a great Christmas present! xoxo
Born near Boston, Massachusetts, Kaedy Kiely has called Atlanta home since the age of 10, graduated from Emory University with a degree in English, then embarked on her career in Radio broadcasting. For over twenty years, she was top-ranked in Atlanta’s Afternoon Drive at 96 Rock (WKLS) and Z93 (WZGC). She took over 97.1 The River’s Morning Drive helm in 2008, and in 2013 she celebrated her 30th year in Atlanta radio by getting inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame. Back in her favorite spot on Afternoon Drive since 2018, Kaedy celebrates 40 YEARS IN ATLANTA RADIO this year!
Kaedy has had the pleasure of interviewing Rock legends like Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, The Who’s Pete Townshend, and so many more. She created her RockRiddles to entertain her listeners and honor her favorite artists. Her love of music, and especially Rock and Roll, comes from being the only girl with 4 brothers who are musicians and who love to rock!
An animal lover, Kaedy devotes much of her free time as a board member of Furkids Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, the largest No-Kill shelter in the southeastern United States. As a breast cancer survivor, she also serves on the board of The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation, dedicated to providing low-income breast cancer patients much-needed everyday living support while they are undergoing treatment at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
Kaedy enjoys traveling, playing guitar, reading, playing poker, and game nights with friends.
