Every year “fans” are upset when the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducts artists who might choose the term “rock” to describe themselves. Some don’t understand that Rock & Roll is a lifestyle and not a genre. Some are even calling for it to change its name to “the Music Hall of Fame.” I recently visited the Rock Hall. I think of myself as a music over of all different genres. I believe music brings people together. Why try so hard to divide people? Keep it the Rock Hall.
