There are a bunch of bands you may know Matt Sorum from.

He’s been part of Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, The Cult, Kings of Chaos and has toured with Billy F Gibbons as well.

And that’s just a part of his drumming resume’.

On top of all that he is a greatly sought after producer.

But here Matt steps out as singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer for “The Matts”.

The band name reflects that Matt played everything except for the slide guitar.

Matt uploaded the video to his Instagram with this caption:

"I Won’t Back Down by Tom Petty performed by The Matts

I made this video in the desert near Pioneertown when thinking and speaking with my good friends and partners in Brazil . Brazil is like a second home to me and I traveled there often before the pandemic to work on projects with my company @sthorm.io Since then we have moved our @viralcure.global project into working on COVID-19 and supporting @hospitalhcfmusp We started the crowd funding space and raised much needed funds to help with the situation and medical supplies. Please support if you can. We’re all in this together more than ever.
