We recently caught up with Blue Oyster Cult guiarist Buck Dharma via Zoom.

Buck is the sole constant member in the band’s history.

In 2022 Blue Oyster Cult celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Part of our conversation covered the band’s start at Stony Brook University on Long Island.

We also discussed their latest album “The Symbol Remains” which was released in October of 2020.

We spoke of how that was their first album since 2001.

That lead to conversation of the possibility of new music from the band.

We aslo covered gear and Buck playing a recognizable Steinberger guitar.
