Hello Atlanta!!! Katherine here. I can't believe that it has already been a year since I became a River Rat! Seeing that I am a people person it was only natural for me to find a job where I could hang out with some of the coolest people in Atlanta. I have always been a fan of music, and it was always my goal to some day work in the music industry. I could not have found a better station to work for than 97.1 The River! I am so blessed to be working with the craziest, most enthusiastic group of people in the biz. Only the best of the best can call themselves a River Rat, and I am proud to be one of them!!
We are fast approaching the end of our 97 Days of Summer, but there is still a lot of great artist left to ROCK the rest of our summer nights! That said here is a little background info about me. I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and I moved to Georgia in 1997. I have to say I'm loving it! I mean who would want to live anywhere other than the fine city of Atlanta! I attended the University of West Georgia, and graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications. I love animals and currently live in a house with four chocolate labs. I live for road trips and take them whenever I get the chance. I also live for fall and college football!!!! I will not name any particular team but those who know me well know that I have two particular favorites! That is my life in a nutshell. Make sure you come out and visit the River Rats when we hit the streets of Atlanta!
