FEAR THIS Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to safe teen driving, is offering an advanced driver training course for teens and parents. The course is modeled after the same training that cadets receive as part of their academy training. Instructors are Academy Instructors from Gwinnett County Police Department. The Hall-Dawson Court Appointed Special Advocate Program is seeking volunteers for their Fall Training Sessions. CASA is a nonprofit agency composed of volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children. There is a dire need for volunteers in our area to assure that abused and neglected children in Hall and Dawson Counties are represented by a trained advocate. (website)

Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends AARF is a non-profit animal rescue organization licensed by the state of Georgia that works to assist abandoned, abused and stray animals in finding new, loving homes. AARF works with all breeds of dogs and cats. We utilize a network of foster care providers to house the rescued animals, provide them complete medical care, (including spaying or neutering), and then place them into loving permanent homes.
