The course is modeled after the same training that cadets receive as part of their academy training. Instructors are Academy Instructors from Gwinnett County Police Department. Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends AARF is a non-profit animal rescue organization licensed by the state of Georgia that works to assist abandoned, abused and stray animals in finding new, loving homes. AARF works with all breeds of dogs and cats. We utilize a network of foster care providers to house the rescued animals, provide them complete medical care, (including spaying or neutering), and then place them into loving permanent homes. AARF is run solely on adoption fees, private donations and charitable grants without government support. (website)
