I had a very belated birthday celebration with my "Chatty Hoochies" last night. My River cohorts Kate McCarthy, Deborah Reece and I are close friends, and the fact that we are all on the same radio station makes it even more fun for us! We've dubbed ourselves "The River's Chatty Hoochies" and try to meet on a regular basis at our clubhouse (my place,) then out to a favorite spot for dinner. Just to give you a little insight into our radio company, Cox Broadcasting, we have 4 other sister stations: WSB AM, B98.5, KISS 104.1, and 95.5 The Beat, as well as The River. I'm thrilled to work for such a great company and with such talented people! We've extended our "Hoochie"dom to a couple of other co-workers, Cynthia Young from KISS 104.1, and Jordan Graye from B98.5. Last night Chow Baby! was our destination for dinner -- I LOVE this place! Stir-fry like you've never had before -- amazingly fresh veggies and proteins, and delicious sauces -- you collect what you want in a bowl, then they cook it for you. The price is under $15 for dinner for all you can eat -- it's crazy good! We chowed down and went back to our clubhouse for champagne and The Beatles Rock Band. What an addictively fun game. The girls who hadn't played picked it up quickly. We're all pretty good at singing, especially Reece -- she's an actual pro. Kate plays keyboards, Cynthia plays drums, Jordan plays tamborine, and I play guitar in real life, so we're thinking we may have to start our own rock band. We've already got the perfect name for it!
