NAZARETH TOOK THEIR NAME FROM THE BAND SONG, "THE WEIGHT" - "I PULLED INTO NAZARETH...WAS FEELIN' ABOUT HALF PAST DEAD."

A SONG FROM THE EVERLYS BROUGHT THEM FAME

"LOVE HURTS" WAS ORIGINALLY RECORDED BY THE EVERLY BROTHERS IN 1960 AND COVERED BY ROY ORBISON IN 1961. IT WAS A TOP 10 HIT FOR NAZARETH IN 1975.

THINK OF DRINKIN' WHISKEY EARLY IN THE DAY

REFERENCE TO 1975'S "HAIR OF THE DOG" LP AND SONG, AND THE SONG "WHISKEY DRINKIN' WOMAN" FROM THAT LP.
