Boston Members Return to Their Day Jobs
Boston wrapped up their first tour since the 2007 death of their singer Brad Delp Sunday, August 31st, in Puerto Rico. A post on the band's website says, "Although it will be great to get back to our families and catch up on some much needed rest, we all regret that this has to come to an end." For singer Tommy DeCarlo and drummer Jeff Neal, they're not only going back to their families, but also to their day jobs. DeCarlo, who joined up for this tour after guitarist Tom Scholz heard a tape of him, goes back to his job at the Home Depot in Charlotte, North Carolina where he has taken leave to sing for Boston. Can you imagine? Neal teaches 10th grade history in Standish, Maine. Scholz will go back to working on a new Boston greatest hits album.
