A post on the Doobie Brothers website says drummer Michael Hossack has been "seriously injured in a taxi cab accident while on tour with the band. He is currently in stable condition in the hospital. More information will follow as soon as we have it." This is the second time in the last eight years that Hossack has been involved in a vehicular accident. In 2000 he was in a very serious motorcycle wreck that left him sidelined for 14 months. And, to add to his troubles, earlier this year, someone was going around Las Vegas impersonating Hossack. That person has since been arrested.

We're pulling for him!
